Complete Frames

Under the umbrella of the new BTS Complete Track systems division, Berco UK supplies complete undercarriage solutions to its OEM clients.

In Quarter 2 2007 Berco UK began to supply fully assembled sideframes, for the 45 tonne excavator, to Komastu UK at its Headquarters in Birtley, County Durham.

All parts are sourced independently by Berco UK, and are assembled on a dedicated line in the Spennymoor Factory.

The finished assemblies are delivered directly to the Komatsu UK assembly line on a JIT basis, on dedicated stillages – shown in the illustration below (track groups are supplied separately to aid finished machine assembly).

In quarter 1 2009 Berco UK delivered frames to the mining industry - shown in the illustration below. The frames were used on large mobile crushing unit. Assembly was carried out on our dedicated line and on this occasion the frames were assembled with Tracks.
