Berco SPA
The headquarters are in Copparo (Ferrara), where there is also the biggest of the three factories: Berco 1, as it is called. The other factories are in Castelfranco Veneto (Treviso) and Busano Canavese (Turin). The Castelfranco Veneto factory (Berco 2), concentrates on the manufacture of track adjusters, the production of rollers for agricultural machinery and houses the track chain assembly lines. The Busano Canavese centre (Berco 3), produces the large and small size forged parts, especially the segments. All manufacturing plants are in Italy and Berco exports most of its manufactured products to its subsidiaries.
Subsidiaries
Through its foreign subsidiaries in the United States, Germany Brazil and UK, the Berco group is able to supply undercarriages for OEM on a just-in-time basis to the main earth-moving machinery OEM companies in the different parts of the world.The US branch, Berco of America Inc; in the state of Wisconsin was opened on the 1st of May 1995. This subsidiary has a warehouse, two track shoe assembly lines, one track chain assembly press and other tools and machinery for assembly and storage.
After this, there have been several new investments and substantial organic growth, most notably the opening of a logistics centre in 2002, and a new assembly plant in April 2005.
The German branch is in Ennepetal. It covers an area of about 18,000 square meters and has a stock of 4,000 tons of tracked machinery components available to the customer in real time.
After working in Brazil as a division of its sister company Robrasa since 2000, Berco opened in January 2002 near Diadema.
The new branch, employing 34 people, covers a surface area of 2,700 square meters, with excellent quality plant and facilities, in an industrial complex shared with 3 other companies in the Thyssen Production system group; with the entire operational investment totaling over 5 million euros.

China
At the end of 2006 Berco opened a subsidiary in Shanghai. The initial remit was to source alternate suppliers in Asia. However, the project has moved forward rapidly and during late 2007 an assembly plant was established (also in Shanghai). This branch is supplying major OEM's which have already been established in that parts of the world.

Bulgaria
Berco Bulgaria is the new subsidiary, which became operational in October 2008. It will focus its activity on the assembly of track chains, and the fabrication of complete frames, which is one area where Berco expects significant growth.

India
The Berco India project is well underway and the plant under construction in Hyderabad has seen significant development. It is expected that this plant is to be fully operational in the first half of 2010.
